With a solid background in economics from Odessa National Maritime University, Usov’s first employments were with a transport company and in media business. In 2011, he focused on IT business and established his first start-up in digital publishing. In 2014, Usov launched Kwambio 3D Printing startup that worked with General Electric, Stanley, Coca Cola, Airbus, partnered with NASA and TechStars, and then using Kwambio 3D printing technology set up Adam Corp that specialized in bioprinting organic implants. In 2020, he won an open competition for a post and was appointed a Chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine. In 2021, Vladimir Usov became a co-founder of an on-orbit servicing startup Kurs Orbital, which focuses on extending satellites commercial lifetime and performance. Based on proven Soviet technologies, Kurs Orbital develops a new orbital platform offering services like relocation, de-orbiting and close inspection missions. Member of the International Academy of Astronautics.
