On September 5, the Center presented a project on an airdropped light launch vehicle at the State Space Agency of Ukraine. The presentation was challenged by a row of questions from senior executives of key space companies, representatives of the Academy of Sciences and other stakeholders who took part in the discussion. As a result, the decision was to include this project to the new State Space Program for 2018-2022. Given the nature of the project, national legislation and international agreements, such approval by the central state authorities is essential to commence project work and implement this idea through close partnership among aviation and space companies, as well as research institutes in Ukraine.
